I'm not in Slytherin.
He noticed that Murdoch was pressing his quill to the parchment to keep track of points, Oakey hesitated then blurted.
What!?!? wait no! don't mark those down! He slightly panicked and started looking around.
I-I'm in Hufflepuff Mr. Murdoch! Hufflepuff! don't give the snakes my points. he earned those. Two espeically at the
Dueling Tent, even though he lost both his matches. He fought off a Grindylow in the
Black Lake for another and doubled that by betting on
Hippogriffs.
Was this a punishment for saying his name wrong?
Oh Um! Murdoch, Murdoch, Murdoch. Oakey hesitated a grin on his face.
Bwaha!!
The look on the boy's face was priceless, and it took all Waylon had not to burst out laughing at him. Of course he knew he wasn't a Slytherin and he wouldn't have dreamed about giving another house the points. These kids, they really were a house point happy bunch, weren't they? Oh, and look! That was all it took for Oakey to get his name right.
Chuckling now, not able to help himself, Waylon held the parchment out that he was writing on and showed it to Oakey, letting him know that he really did know which house he belonged in.
"Just a little teasing, I know which house you're in." Crazy kid.
"Five points for Hufflepuff."
But he better not call him Merdog again. Hehe.

"What's a Murdoch?" he blinked confused before his eyes widened a little bit in understanding.
"Oh! that's your name!" he bowed quickly.
"Sorry sir! I thought..nevermind... " He sighed deeply as he saw the mans hand hover over a plushed dragon, it was so cute! And he really started to doubt his decision in getting the house points. It quickly flew away though as he thought about Slytherin winning and he grinned stupidly.
Daichi was about to turn around and walk back to the castle when he remembered something.
"Uhm, sir? i have a question." he asked and without waiting for an answer he spoke.
"I also won a tiny model dragon...at the horse shoe throwing game can i get that too or not now i got the house points?" he HAD won it right?
What's a Murdoch?
It was a good thing Daichi realized that Murdoch was his last name, or else Waylon would have thought there was something wrong with it. He understood that some of the kids didn't know it, or just forgot it, he could relate to THAT, but he was already called some really weird things and even after he had told that one kid what his name was, he went and said something completely different! Pfft, Merdog.
Grinning at the Slytherin, Waylon dismissed his apology with a wave of his hand. No need for apologies. He was just about to turn to the other kids in line after seeing the boy turn away from the Kiosk, but the question stopped him and he glanced back down at his parchment. Yup, he did win that tiny model dragon.
"Ugh, yeah, you do get it." Just.. Holding up one finger, letting Daichi know to wait a moment, Waylon glanced around, looking for the box that held those dragons.
He remembered seeing them..
somewhere..
"AHA!" Spotting the box, he began rummaging through it, and finding one of his favorite breeds of dragons, he tossed it over to Daichi.
"An Antipodean Opaleye. How's that one?" Quote:

No drink? She was fine?
Raising his eyebrows, he didn't think she looked fine, but he was no Healer, Waylon gave a shrug of his shoulders before pocketing the coins she had dropped into his hand.
"All right, three house points." And..
"It's Murdoch. Mr. Murdoch." He felt all official and stuff.

"Thank you sir." she beamed and gave him a small bow. Then.."Errm..Biscuit's not around sir?" Beezus asked. She was looking forward to seeing the puppy again but she was just too busy with all the schoolwork.
Was Beezus a mind reader!?
Waylon was thinking about how upset Biscuit was going to be that he wasn't there to see the Ravenclaw, and then she just had to ask about the puppy. Kind of creepy, but he wasn't going to say that.
"No." he said, glancing over in the direction of the hut. A little while ago, he saw the dog sitting in the window. And he looked so sad.
"With all these prizes around, he would have tried to play with them so I had to leave him in the hut."
Biscuit would have especially liked the squawking hat. It sounded like one of the ducks he liked to chase around.
