Amethyst smiled at they began to work on the potion. She loved this so much! She pulled out her notepad and wrote down the ingredients. It was a quite interesting bunch.
Alright, she thought. Let's get down to business. She had heard Lafay reminding them to remember the 5 C's: Color, Concentration, Care, Cleanliness, and Content.
She pulled out her wand and cleared her throat, needing to speak clearly. She tapped her wand on the cauldron lightly. "Scourgify." She spoke smoothly and was glad to see that the spell worked on the first try. It was clean.
Now for the water, she thought. Gripping her wand, she pointed it to the cauldron. "Aguamenti." She said as water appeared in her cauldron. She hadn't lost her touch. And she was happy about it.
She sat waiting for the next set of instructions.

Amethyst nodded to herself as she scanned her area. All neat and tidy. Because of this, she was easily able to spot the valerian root and the salamander blood.
Right, One drop of Valerian root, One drop of Salamander blood. Ten times. tedious, but necessary. She did as she was told and began the count.
Valerian Root, Salamander Blood; Valerian Root, Salamander Blood.
Valerian Root, Salamander Blood; Valerian Root, Salamander Blood.
Valerian Root, Salamander Blood; Valerian Root, Salamander Blood.
Valerian Root, Salamander Blood; Valerian Root, Salamander Blood.
Valerian Root, Salamander Blood; Valerian Root, Salamander Blood.
All done! She smiled from ear to ear, waiting for what came next. As she waited, she looked over her notes.
