She walked over to the Ingredients supply cupboard and using a dropper pumped up 10 drops of Valerian root into one vial and 10 drops of Salamander Blood into the other. Then she returned to her cauldron and picking up one vial in her left hand and one in her right hand, she first dripped one drop of Valerian Root into her cauldron and then one drop of Salamander Blood. "One Valerian, One Salamander. Two Valerian, Two Salamander. Three Valerian, Three Salamander, Four Valerian, Four Salamander. Five Valerian, Five Salamander. Six Valerian, Six Salamandar. Seven Valerian, Seven Salamander. Eight Valerian, Eight Salamander. Nine Valerian, Nine Salamander. Ten Valerian, Ten Salamander."Alyssa continued to add the drops until all 10 drops of Valerian root and all 10 drops of Salamander Blood were added into the cauldron.

She then sat back and waited for the Professor to give further instructions.
