Gideon was happy with the way his frame had turned out for his transfiguration assignment. Now he just hoped Professor Bentley liked it when he gave it to her. He had been trying to find his head of house to give it to her but he had struck out at her office and it was near meal time so he decided to check out the Great Hall for sight of the Herbology professor. Entering the high-ceilinged room and walking towards the front, all it took was a gaze at the staff table to see that she was indeed there and he relaxed.
"Good day Professor Bentley," he greeted with a polite smile as he came up to the table in front of her where another lion student already resided. Gideon spotted another frame and worried a little bit. Would it just seem like he had copied the same idea to give it to a head of house or would she believe he had thought specifically for her?
It was certainly shaping up to be a very nice and enjoyable day so far, and the arrival of Gideon didn't do anything to stem that.
"Gideon, lovely to see you," she greeted with a small nod.
She could sense that something wasn't quite right. Was he nervous?
"How've you been dear?" she asked, wondering if maybe something had happened.
