Ariana hung her head in shame & sat next to Kennedy. He was upset, more than upset maybe furious with her. She really didn't mean to be so late, she was just having an off day & really needed to get to this class. She took out her stuff 7 began to take note & catch up as quickly as she could. this day Could NOT get any worse.

Kennedy managed to mask his...whatever he was feeling. He didn't want to scare the girl, but then he didn't want to seem like he wasn't doing his job. SIGH. He could reprimand...in a polite way. Yeah, he could do that.
"I don't want to interrupt the lesson, so we'll discuss this after class," he told her in a whisper. He didn't want to cause more interruptions and risk losing Slytherin more points. Plus, he'd keep an eye on her.
The good thing was that the young snake was trying to catch up and was even participating. He gave her an encouraging nod and a slight smile.
