Alex was really shocking himself with all this random allergy knowledge he seemed to have accumulated at some point in his life. His allergies were not even that bad, so he wasn't sure how he'd come about all this info, but he was definitely liking it right about now.
He raised his hand to answer Lafay's latest question. "Well I know muggles sometimes use vaccinations with a little bit of the allergin in them to try and combat the reactions...they always say a little bit of exposure over a long period of time helps," he replied. From what he'd heard, though, they weren't very effective. Still..."I'm guessing that means in our own potions we'd want to follow the same method and put some of the strawberries or pollen or what have you in there," he added.
EWW he was going to have to drink pollen water?? GROSS.
"Maybe an anti-histamine too," he added as an afterthought. "To squash the symptoms before they start."
