Although Ellie never wanted to pull away from the kiss, it was probably good Dallin did. She didn't necessarily want to get in trouble for PDA. Pff. Lame rules.
When they did pull away, Ellie was smiling. She watched Dallin as he looked down... and then back at her. She was still smiling. But she couldn't help but disagree with his statement.
"Actually, I think I do know. I feel pretty good too." Ellie scooted closer to Dallin. She was really, really happy.
"Oh! Before I forget, I have something for you," Ellie exclaimed excitedly and reached for her school bag. She rummaged around in it until she found her Transfiguration
project that she had worked on the day before. It was wrapped in a brown paper bag.
"It's not much, it was just the homework assignment for Transfiguration. But I thought you might like it." Ellie shrugged a little. Hopefully he would.
