Carter just rolled his eyes. This whole talon thing didn't deserve a response. His feet were perfectly normal. And he was still weirded out that Destiny even looked at his feet.
But he did find comfort in the fact that she didn't look at them very well. She did think they were talons.
"You gave my little sister an animal that doesn't enjoy being fed. Yeah. That's completely normal Destiny." he said sarcastically. Why did he allow the two to meet anyway?
He blinked. "You didn't even read my letter did you? When you snatched it?" he said to her. But the damage was done already, wasn't it? He couldn't very well take it back after a response like that.
Besides... Destiny was a lot of fun at Hershey Park, she'd probably be fun at Disney World too.
"Yeah. Sure." he said. "But you've got to promise not to attempt to eat... or kidnap... the people in costumes."
He blinked. "An airplane?" he asked. "I don't think you'd like that..." Plus, the former snake probably didn't have a passport. Or legal identity. He wasn't really sure how it worked.
He glanced over at Destiny and the quill very obviously not in her hand anymore.
"Ready?" he asked. The sooner they went to the counter, the sooner he'd get cheesecake. And Merlin did he need some cheesecake.
