She hadn’t told him yet. How could she? She didn’t know what to say.

They had only been married what? A year. Less even.

How could she say it without scaring herself silly? “Hey Jaxton I need to tell you I’m pregnant” she practiced on the mirror.

“Wait your what?” He asked. Oh Merlin! He had walked in and heard her. “We’re going to have a baby?” He asked.

She nodded, and he rushed over enveloping her in his arms. She didn’t even have to fear telling him, he had just, heard her. “I’m scared”
