When the door opened, he smiled at seeing her there. She was walking away from the door and not yet seen him so he tried to sneak up on her and try to startle her a bit. He was just about to poke her in the side, when she turned to face him.
Ella was pacing back and forth in front of the door, something she did was she was thinking. This time she was thinking of all the food that might be stored down here. She was also wondering where the house elves were hiding, she had yet to see one. Turning on her heel, she came face to face with Ian.
"Are you a ninja or something!" She said laughing.
"I didn't even hear you come in!" She smiled at him, sensing he had been trying to scare her.
"I hope you weren't trying to startle me, you know how I am in the kitchen." She said this with a mischievous grin, waggling her eyebrows for added effect.
