Beezus tossed her backpack on her bed and got ready to take off her socks when she heard a sort of something glassy came colliding with the sheets. She froze. She didn't remember putting anything glass inside her backpack. Well..nothing that she could remember. But checking was a better thing to do right? So..she sat down on her bed and opened her backpack. There was a tiny glow going on and off. She frowned more, she couldn't remember placing a lantern there. So why the glowing? But her questions were answered when she pulled out a black picture frame from inside her bag.
"OH!" she exclaimed upon identifying it.
That was the picture frame that she had transfigured earlier that afternoon at the Practice Room. Merlin, how could she forget about that? She felt so bad for she was even thinking of giving it to her Aunt. Quickly, she took out her wand from its holster, pulled out a small photo of her and her Aunt, grabbed the frame and placed it on a small table inside the Dormitory. She was going to transfigure the frame and photo like they did in their Transfiguration Class.
But to start off, she needed to revert the frame back into its original form.
"Reverto." she uttered as she lightly touched the frame with her wand's tip. A small pop came and smoke filled the spot. A few seconds later, she was staring at a parchment laid on the table.
"Then..placing it in the middle.." the eaglet said as she placed the photo in the middle of the flatly laid parchment.
Okay Beezus. Concentrate. You were able to do it. You can do it again. She encouraged herself. She wasn't sure if she'd still be able to transfigure the parchment properly because once again, the parchment was different from the muggle paper. With a heavy breath, she mumbled
"Stat-UA HAB-itum." Beezus traced the square shape of the parchment and closed her eyes. Please, please..Please it be transfigured correctly.. She prayed.
And because she had closed her eyes, she wasn't able to see the reaction that had taken place with the the photo and the frame yet she heard its crumpling. When there wasn't anymore sound, she slowly opened her eyes then a smile curved her lips.
"Can't wait to send this to Aunt Belinda." the eaglet said as she held the
newly transfigured picture frame.
