If he didn't see the coins with his own eyes, Waylon would have thought that the kids were cheating somehow. Not that they could cheat really, he did have a list stating how many tokens everyone should have.
He was just too lazy to actually read it.
Holding out his hand for her to drop the tokens into it, he picked up his quill and wrote down her information. "Twenty points for Gryffindor. If you're really sure that's what you want." They had a deluxe box of pranks from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! Who wouldn't want that!?
With the way things were going, Waylon was going to be able to keep his squawking hat. And all the other prizes that were behind the counter. It made him wonder why they even had prizes to begin with, they all should have known that the house points were what everyone was going to go for.
Not that he was complaining or anything. Giving out house points was such an easy job.
Scooping the coins Kurumi had placed on the counter into his hand, Waylon shoved them into his pocket before jotting down how many house points she was to receive. "Eighteen house points to you, Kurumi."
He knew it before she even said it, she wanted house points.
Unlike the other students that made their way up to the counter, this one just had that look about her. The look that said 'Give me the house points or when you wake up you will find your duck pond drained of water.' Okay, so maybe the look didn't say that exactly, but he was correct about her wanting the points.
Waylon held out his hand so she could drop her tokens into it, except he found himself retracting said hand as he heard what else she had to say.
Ohh..
He knew what she was doing, and Waylon Murdoch was not going to fall for it! Clearing his throat, he held out his hand once more and leaned forward just a little bit, making shifty eyes at the girl. "I'll tell you what. How about I give you your ten house points, and you still feed the ducks everyday for a week?" Bwaha! "Of course that's what I really want," Jezz said. What kind of question was that anyway. She had already gotten enough prizes anyway. "Thank you." She said smiling as she watched him scribble down something on paper. It had better be her twenty points or she just might go crazy. She turned away from the kiosk not exactly sure where she was going but she wasn't going to stay here.
