Of course it was sad, El couldn't eat chocolate! Frowning, she shrugged as if to say 'I didn't get to choose'.
Closing her textbook, she smiled and raised her hand. She knew this one by heart.

Lowering her hand, she looked around. She and Beezus weren't the only ones. There were about four of them? But those were chocolate, not necessarily cacao. A true cacao allergy was rare, at least that was what she was told...
