Goo goo g'joob Travis sat on the window sill across from a large portrait of a rather rotund old wizard, and his domesticated troll. It was an odd pair, one could barely tell the troll from the warlock. "--honestly, the someone should tell a teacher about the statue. He keeps tripping people, it's not nice." Travis rambled to the troll since the old wizard evidently only communicated through grunts, who knew. The subject of Travis' ramblings were unknown even to him. He had done the same to a senile witch on the second floor yesterday, but she had forgotten the subject of their conversation by this morning, and she'd even forgotten his name.
She had been a kind painting woman, but it seemed silly to have to reintroduce himself before each conversation. SNORE! When Travis looked up from his dangling feet at the Troll and Old Wizard, he founded both fast asleep on their frame.
Trav cocked his head to the side and pursed his lips. How long had they actually been asleep? How many people had passed, only to see Travis talking to himself? Was there going to be some kind of school rumor that Trav was crazy? He hoped not.
Travis' Cheeks puffed out in contemplation. Should he call it a day, and start on his homework in the dorms, or should he find another willing portrait to vent his overactive brain to? |
