She looked over at Professor Hadley, but didn't want to offender her by saying something was wrong with the chocolates so she just smiled and said goodbye again. Watching as the students took chocolates, thanking her for the lesson, she nodded and waited a moment to see if anyone brought any questions to her attention. That was when she noticed Minerva nearly choking on her way out the door. "Oh... are you...?" but she was gone before she could say anything more. Hmm. Must have gone down the wrong pipe or something. Quote:

Shrugging it off, she blinked when Kurumi stepped backward into the room and asked a question. Huh? Oh. Trust the fifth year to ask such a question. "I think..." she paused, pondering the question a moment longer. "I think your theories were fairly close to accurate." As for what really happened on the 15th of October, well.... she didn't hide in her office per say. Quote:

Alyssa asked the Professor eyeing one of the chocolates as she waited for the Professor to answer. She picked one up, popped it into her mouth and almost laughed outloud. Trust Oakey to give the Professor chocolates that were spicy!! Thank goodness she loved eating spicy Indian and Mexican food, so the chocolate actually tasted nice. It was definitely different but still tasty just them same. Distracted momentarily by Kurumi's question, she blinked in surprise when Alyssa was leaving but then offered something or other. "Oh... oh ... no, that's alright, dear. It won't take me long to rearrange them." Besides, she wasn't actually sure how she wanted to arrange them for the next lesson. Best to leave them be till she decides. "Thank you for the offer though." Quote:

Yeah, dream on Beezus. A voice said inside her. With a sigh, she returned her things inside her backpack and walked towards their Arithmancy Professor. "Thank you for the good lesson Professor." Then she looked at the box of chocolates that she offered. "And thanks for the chocolates Professor. But I'm allergic." Then she smiled and walked out of the classroom. Allergic to chocolates? Oh. For some strange reason, her thoughts flickered at that moment to a certain former Head Girl, and for a brief second, she wondered about the girl and what she was doing since graduating last year. "That's alright." She sympathized. Considering she wasn't allergic; just hypersensitive to the sugar and caffeine within the substance. Quote:

And the class was over? It had been a good class! She gathered her things and put them in her bag, and then got up to leave. On the way out, she said to Professor, "Goodbye Professor! It was a nice lesson!"
And then she saw the chocolates! Wow! Just the sight of those chocolates made her mouth water. She went over quickly and grabbed some. She unwrapped one and put it into her mouth. And choked on it! Uff.. was it even chocolate that she was eating? Professor had certainly said it was chocolate! Chocolate was never spicy!
Grinning, she said, "Good joke professor, also a little too spicy!" Then she took her water bottle out and quickly drank some. And then left the classroom. Quote:

Taking a biscuit from the plate, the Ravenclaw was about to bid goodbyes to the rather moody professor and leave when she saw Kurumi talking to her. Quickly, she loped over to them and was all ears. Bringing the biscuit up to her mouth, she took a bite while listening to Kurumi, expecting something crunchy and sweet to dissolve in her mouth but... O__O "Errr... are those... barbecue biscuits, professor?" She gave the one in her hand a skeptical look. Kurumi might identify the problem, the girl had probably more cookies than books in her trunk. It was a criticize though, the girl was one heck of a smart kid. Pity it wasn't a Ravvie. Quote:

She said with a wide smile. "Thanks for a fun lesson!" She grabbed a chocolate, popping it in her mouth. Within seconds, Ella's mouth was on fire. "Merlin's beard!" She said wide eyed. She ran for the nearest trash bin and spit the contents out. She looked around, wide eyed and then realized it must have been some kind of joke. Wow, didn't see that one coming! Ella, always able to appreciate a well executed prank, smiled again at Professor Hadley. "Good one Professor! A little spicier than I like my chocolates though." She giggled as she left, in search of a large glass or milk. Spicy? Barbecue? Josephina frowned at the three girls who had quite the adverse reactions to consuming the chocolate ... something almost similar to Minerva's choking fit before, but Minerva hadn't wanted to offend her, it seemed. "Oh... Oh... Wait? They were spicy?" Fina frowned, staring incredulously at the box. Had Oakey been trying to POISON her? And yet, she mistakenly nearly poisoned half the student body!
Automatically, she closed the box of chocolates. "I'm... oh... I had no idea... they were a gift... and ... Well, you don't have to eat them. Please don't." Merlin only knew what else Oakey did to them.
