Text Cut: Personal Day Number and Soul Urge Number One

ONE (1): A 1 Personal Day Number is a day to begin things and to focus on yourself.

ONE (1): You want to lead more than anything and may want to control others too. You do not like being subordinate or taking orders. 1 Soul Numbers are often ambitious, independent, headstrong, and willful. You stay away from teams, committees - and mediocrity. In matters of the heart and friendship, everything is great when the object of your affection/friendship lives up to your expectations. You expect that person to be as charming, clever, and independent as you are. You may seem cold or distant but it is only because you are protecting yourself.

"Professor does it mean that two days ago, you decided to pamper yourself for a change and you did something that you liked to do where you were in control, instead of doing something someone else wanted to do?" Alyssa hoped that her answer at least made sense.
Pamper herself for a change? Oh. Maybe she was referencing the beginning thing. "Control, yes. Control and new beginnings..." But she wasn't about to concede into telling more details than that.

"Yes, that day would have had significance, as it would have been important toward my desire to lead... to take control." Take matters into her own hands, perhaps.

So, you can sort of see how that really works with your Personal Day number of one, as you said it means a day to begin things, focusing on yourself. So it almost seems like having the same Soul Urge as the Personal Day number strengthens the meaning of the Personal Day number," she said.
Fina frowned for a moment. "The soul urge number isn't sort of like, but rather it is your heart desire number. But yes ... you're quite on the right line of thinking."

"Well, Professor, is there something you've been wanting to do--for yourself--but you've been holding off on for whatever reason?" she asked. "Maybe the number one in both places meant that the fifteenth was a good day to go ahead and get that done--to do something for yourself, you know."
"Do something new... that would help me toward my own expectations and life goals, you mean?" Fina said casually.

As for Hadley's twosome number ones, HMMM. Louisa pondered that for a bit. Focusing on herself... the soul urge said she liked independence and all... well. "Maybe, professor, you got yourself a chance of a new life? Maybe one that doesn't involve sacrificing your time to others?" Pause at the lame guess. The Louisa started babbling again, "BUT you had to give away your responsibilities as a head of authority, which's what your soul urge number indicates that you love, and you didn't?" MERLINSMELLYPANTS DID ROSLUND PROPOSE ALREADY!? A tiny bouncy version of Louisa was freaking out in Louisa's head.

It was the closest thing she could think of... so...
A new life?!? Merlin, it wasn't like she was on Death's Bed or anything! And really, what was that about giving away her responsibilities as head of authority? She was still Head of House, for Merlin's sake, not to mention, that completely contradicted a number ONE Soul Urge Number, which was about leading. "No. It's about a new beginning. A way to focus on myself and my independence. My expectations. My life goals." Not about giving up something like her independence or authority. HMPH.

"Yes. That is exactly what it means. That 15th day of October was a good day to start something for myself. Something that would help me towards living up to my life expectations." Fina nodded at the seventh year.

Shut her office door? Fina frowned at this suggestion. "I don't think... closing out my problems has much to do with this..." Unless she was referring to the ideals that she wanted to be alone. Independent. Away from teams. But no, she was pretty sure that wasn't the case really.

"...acting self centered?" Ella opened her eyes wide and tried to make it sound better somehow. "Not that I think you're self-centered, Professor!" She decided it was best that she stop talking and she looked down at the table.
And now... Despite herself, Fina laughed. Not at the suggestion, but just because of how the girl said it. She seemed so ... reluctant to say it, yet she did. And it was just ... amusing. "There's nothing wrong with being self-centered, once in awhile." Just for the record and stuff.

Kurumi raised her hand. "Perhaps, professor, on the fifteenth you just needed to step back from everything and take a moment to yourself? Reevaluate relationships and tasks that needed to be handled." Kurumi often had days like that. Ones where you just needed to keep to yourself and focus on what you needed to do to get things done. Not to mention needing to examine some relationships and figure out where things were going.

Kurumi glanced at Louisa. Yep...things like THAT.
Just as she was about to dismiss the lesson, she noticed Kurumi raised her hand to add something else. What was with people suggesting that she needed to reevaluate her life and take a moment to herself, two days ago? Did they think she was uptight or something? "Perhaps... yes..." she said, simply and quite nonchalantly. "Time to take a moment to myself and set a precedent for a new beginning, yes."

Casually brushing some strands of hair behind her ear, Fina said simply, "If there are no further questions, then class is dismissed. Your homework assignment will be posted on the notice board outside my office." But just before anyone could move or leave... "And please, have a chocolate on your way out," she added on last note, as she remembered the box Oakey gave her and she opened it, setting it on the desk nearest the door for them to take one.

ooc: if you haven't stalked my office, the chocolates were supposedly made extra sweet, but were accidentally made spicy. Of course your character won't know this until they try one
