"What?" she asked, even though she wasn't sure whether he had actually directed the question at her. That really wasn't the question she'd expected though. "Believe me now?" What did that mean? When and about what had she not believed him, and what about this situation would make her believe whatever it was now?

"You're so dumb." She said it softly but fondly, and if one looked closely enough, they would see a faint smile on her lips. "You really think that's what this is about?" Really, the fact that he thought any guy, especially Dallin, could possibly change her mind about dating him was pure stupidity. "Maybe you really are twisted by the dark side." He'd have to be to think something silly like that. Not to mention the fact that he didn't seem to be mad at her right now? Definitely twisted by the dark side.
Anakin didn't turn to look at her when she'd questioned what he was talking about, and the boy simply shrugged.
"Long time ago we talked about how there were guys out there who liked you--You didn't believe me that there was anyone besides me." Did she now? Because this guy must have liked her to kiss her, right? He wasn't a type that just did it per random, right?

Once he'd posed the question, Ani brought his hand up to self consciously mess with his hair, and rub the back of his neck. Maybe he didn't want to know her answer. The Puff's head whipped around to look at her, and his brow furrowed on it's own.
"What?" She didn't sound, or look angry. In fact, she almost looked like she had the tiniest hint of a smile on her face.
Merlin, he was more confused then ever now.
"Well...isn't it? You're not trying to tell me you wisened up and realized you could do better?" Because she probably could. He didn't think he deserved her, but then again Ani probably could name any guy he'd ever met who did. She was that special, he thought so anyways.
