A smug grin making its way onto his face, Waylon continued to pull at the slingshot's elastic until..he saw his friend pull out his wand. And enlarging his water pistol was totally cheating! He didn't know why exactly, maybe because he didn't think to enlarge his slingshot, or his water balloons, but he was sure everyone would agree with him that that was cheating.
He eyed the pistol up for a moment before pretending that it wasn't a big deal with a shrug of his shoulders. Of course, it was a big deal, he was cheating!, but Waylon was just going to show Oliver that bigger is not always better, hehe. Bending down, he picked out two red balloons, immediately loading one into his slingshot.
"I was going to practice first, but.." Pulling back on the elastic, Waylon let go, and a quiet snapping sound later, he watched as the balloon flew right in Oliver's direction. Hmm, he didn't need practice after all!

Awwwww yeah. Water balloon fight! Shame he didn't have a water gun like Oliver did though.... hmm, now how best could he join in on the action? Then it hit him. The Nerf guns from Gemma! BRILLIANT! The two doofuses could throw water balloons at each other in the brisk weather and Willy could stand back from a distance and shoot them both with his Nerf guns! HEH!
William quickly swished his wand back toward his hut and summoned the gift bag of dart guns to his side. He yanked out the biggest one of the lot and aimed it at Oliver's forehead first, watching with glee as the sticky little dart flew straight toward its target. Then he turned the gun on Waylon and aimed for his neck. Hehehee.
His presence thusly announced, William hopped over the fence like a sprightly boy and levitated his bag of toys behind him. "Sup bros. Looks like you forgot to invite the life of the party!"
HA! Waylon needed to practice first. That's why having a water pistol was so much better than a slingshot. No need for practice. Oliver started to laugh as his friend placed a water balloon in the slingshot and he had just opened his mouth to give him a little smack talk when out of nowhere he was hit in the face with...something.
"What the...?" He stumbled backward slightly and because he was trying to see where that had come from, he had taken his eyes off Waylon and his stupid balloon. He felt it slap the front of him a second later and the cold water begin to seep into his pants.
Lovely. Now it looked as though he had peed himself.
And of course he should have known.
"William." he muttered and adding a few colourful expressions under his breath. Oliver turned his water pistol on his other best friend and began firing water at him.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
Bwhaha! He had always wanted to say that.
