Carter blinked. Did Destiny seriously just ask him that? Destiny of all people.
"Yes Destiny. The things I say make sense in my head." Otherwise, why would he say it? Or even think it?
Carter was not one of those crazy people that thought about things that didn't make sense.
"What wouldn't I do with a house plant?" he retorted. Okay... that was pretty much the lamest thing he'd ever said. And the fact that it came right after he said that he made complete sense didn't help his cause at all.
Maybe Destiny wouldn't notice?
He frowned. She just had to rub it in that she had the bigger room now, didn't she? Destiny should have been grateful that he didn't have any other friends that would keep him company he let her stay with him.
But noooo. She had to insist on having the big bedroom and making those girl eyes.
Carter really needed to work on not being so nice.
And he'd start by just ignoring the fact that he was willing to let her get another pet if it stayed in her room in a cage.
He rolled his eyes. "Right. Because you sniff my shoes." Assuming foot fungus smelled. He didn't know.
Do what ever she wanted? Pft. "Yeah. Except give my sister a giraffe." he mumbled as he finished off his letter.
