Excited about her new pet, she wrote down a few more words on the piece of parchment before glancing at Carter. Why was he looking at her like that? If it was anyone but Carter looking at her like that, she might have been a little scared, but it was Carter and..dropping her quill down on the table, Destiny made a grab for his piece of parchment.

"You better not be writing down lies, Carter! Let me see your letter!"

"We are NOT getting another pet. I already trip over the ones that are there!" Carter exclaimed. But him tripping over the animals mostly had to do with Destiny owning very fat cats.

"And we are especially NOT getting one that trails venom!" And she thought he didn't pay attention in Care of Magical Creatures class.

Okay... so he didn't. But after realizing that Destiny wasn't going to leave... and that she brought all her things over for her 'visit', he reread Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. Why? Because he wanted to be prepared for a moment like this.

Hoping that Destiny was distracted enough by her letter to drop the subject, Carter got back to working on his own letter. He finished the recap of his last few weeks. He wrote about the vacation with Destiny.

And he had just finished writing about how all his vacations should occur at theme parks and that he was thinking Florida was next on his list when....

"HEY!" he said making a frantic attempt to snatch his parchment back. "Whatever happened to NO cheating?" Knowing Destiny that rule probably went out the window when she realized his letter was going to be WAY better then hers.

Typical girl.

"Of course I'm not writing down lies!" He just wasn't writing down truths either. The thought about Disney World hadn't even crossed his mind until a few minutes ago.
