Shoving the rest of the tokens into his pocket, he had quite a few left, he wondered if he could cash them in for something for himself, Waylon gave a few more flicks of his wand and removed the start and finish line from his garden. Almost back to normal, except for the missing benches and the distraught looking topiary. They had been through alot.
"Oh." Apologies were always good.
"It's all right, Zhenya." Waylon had to hold back a chuckle.
"I think you received worse than what the topiary did." That didn't mean he wasn't going to go coddle his
pets plants, because he was.
"Do you need help getting to the Healer?"
Or maybe.. he should call the Healer over to them..

Staring at the girl for a moment, Waylon nodded his head slowly, not really sure if she was being serious or not. Obviously the race was over, he had just said so himself. And really, she couldn't have been
that disappointed. Just look at how bruised and dirty she was! He thought she would have been happy to be finished. Weird kids.
He did smile, though, as he watched her hug her partner and then apologize for trying to destroy his plants. Wait.. the smile faded.
"Are you saying you tried to destroy them on purpose?"
