Louisa smiled proudly and nodded once. Why of course it was very deep. It wasn't her words. It was someone with lots of diplomas and stuff. Louisa didn't let out that bit of detail, though. It was... unnecessary.
...what if he's not ready? Seriously, was this girl playing dumb? Louisa pursed her lips together refusing to offend the girl while she was in this state. "Ellie..." shut up. Forcing a serious smile, Louisa looked right into her eyes, "If I were Dallin and heard you, I would've slapped you." Luckily for the older Ravenclaw, Louisa was not Dallin. "He loves you. I can't believe that after everything you two went through, you still think he might not be ready. He's only away because you broke up with him." Not vice versa. Heh. Teenagers.
With a sigh, she broke into a genuine sad smile, "I'm really sad about this whole thing. Your relationship, no matter what it did to me in the beginning, showed me this kind of love I never knew. If you guys break it..." she left the sentence unfinished.
... WELL.
Sometimes, Ellie loved Louisa's bluntness. This, actually, was one of those times. Because she helped Ellie realize that she was being a complete idiot about all of this and it was pretty much all her fault that everything they had was completely destroyed.
"Well, I'm glad you're not Dallin," Ellie mumbled to herself.
Ellie sighed heavily. Dallin loved her; Ellie knew that. It was silly of her to think that he didn't. And Louisa was right about everything - much to Ellie's chagrin. Dallin was only away because Ellie broke up with him.
"You're right." And she really hated that fact, too.
Louisa's last sentence made Ellie feel really bad... And sad. Ellie looked at her friend sadly when she didn't finish her sentence. Did Louisa actually look up to her? Well, maybe not Ellie in particular, but her and Dallin's relationship?
"I'll fix it. Don't worry." She added a small smile. Because she was confident - or at least hoping - that she would indeed fix it.
