He added that bit, just in case. She had introduced herself with her full name, after all.
"How...long have you been at Hogwarts?" He was actually surprised he hadn't met her yet.
When he asked if she was going to throw a party, Evelyn laughed.
"No. Not at all. I mean, I don't know..I'm new and I hardly know anyone." She pushed her hands into the pockets of her jeans. Gosh, she felt so old! Seventeen! Eeek. It was actually terrifying.
"Have you turned seventeen yet?" When was her birthday?
"I guess I still have time. It's in April."
Evelyn couldn't help but grin back as she removed a hand from her jeans' pocket to shake his hand.
"It's really nice to meet you too, Treyen. That's a lovely name." Yeah, she'd never really heard of that name before.
"Started this year. I'm still getting used to things here, I guess." Evelyn gave a small shrug of her shoulders.
