While they are important people in your life and may seem like they play a large role, their opinion is not the only opinion in the world, and just because you acted a certain way in some circumstance that they may not find appropriate, doesn't mean it makes you unqualified for other situations, you know?" Perhaps Adam was babbling too much and Adam didn't really want to hear all of this. "My apologies if I am being too blunt, but you're an awesome person Adam and you should have some confidence from that fact."
