For a little while, she observed how her fellow Ravenclaw was adding colors on her drawing. She could use her technique some day. But then..a certain creature passed beside her and..
"A kneazle!" Beezus exclaimed. The not-so-furry creature turned its head in her direction. Gaaaah! So cute! She thought. "Hey kneazle..come here.." she said as she spread her arms and beamed at the cat-like creature. Will she be able to pet it? She sure hopes so!
Elise pushed her hair behind her ear and smiled.
"You think so?" she asked, a little surprised. Her father'd always told her that her drawings were a waste of time.
"I could teach you," she said, shrugging. It wasn't hard.
Just then, a flash of bright orange rushed by her and... scattered her pastels everywhere. Sighing, she picked them up and put them back in the box. Just then, a shrill sound nearly burst her eardrums. Oh, Merlin. It was Beezus.
Shrugging she leaned against the tree and began the early works of drawing Beezus with the Kneazle in her arms. Bright orange, vermilion, cobalt blue, black. It was just rough, but the shapes of Beezus and the fluffy
thing Kneazle in her arms were starting to become developed.
