Oliver grinned at his friend before hiding the pistol behind his back. "It was a gift." From a very pretty lady but he didn't see the point in mentioning that. "I have more. If you be nice to me I might let you play with one." They could go and sneak up on William. Or maybe one of the other Professor's. Or maybe the students.
Now that would be fun.
He was helping with the garden. Riiiiight. That was why all the water was hitting him and not any of the vegetables. Waylon rolled his eyes while raising his arm to block his face from the water.
"You're not going to start that 'Waylon is a turnip' thing again, are you?" Because that joke was almost twenty years old and he was tired of hearing it.
Plus the fact was, he is not a turnip!
He was just about to turn back to finish the reorganizing thing that he was doing when Oliver mentioned the pistols being a gift. And how he had more. Someone obviously didn't know what a bad idea was. But, a GOOD idea had struck him and deciding that he had done enough gardening for the day, he stood from the bench and put his wand away.
"I have something better than a water pistol." Pfft, who needed a little water pistol when they had a water balloon slingshot!?
