He would have awarded them, of course. With a few vegetables.
Deciding that he would do something of the sort when the weather changes again, Waylon pulled one of his benches from outside his hut and placed it up against the picket fence. Promptly sitting, he was already tired, he pulled out his wand and gave it a few flicks in the direction of the vegetables.
Reorganizing. Such hard work.
Oliver decided it was time to go and visit his friends. He hadn't seen them since the feast and he was missing them. Well actually no he wasn't. He just wanted to try out his new water pistols that the very pretty Professor Cerulean had given him as a gift.
He decided to head down to see Waylan first and then William on the way back to the castle. He had thought about filling the pistols with butterbeer so that it would be nice and sticky but he decided to just stick with water. Just in case his friend's managed to get hold of one of his pitols. He had four on him after all.
By the time he neared Waylan's hut, Oliver was panting slightly. It had been a while since he had done this much physical activity and he had forgotten how far the groundskeeper's hut was. And there was Waylan, sitting on his butt as usual. Oliver approached quietly and when he was about six feet away he began squirting water in the air above his friend's head.
No doubt Waylan would think it had started to rain.
