But then, a strange sensation took over and she was no longer frightened but...laughing? The fish nibbled on her feet but not as if they were trying to rip her flesh off like some other scary fish she knew of. It sort of tickled and her feet felt...cleaner, if that were even possible. Kurumi kicked hard again, and the fish dispersed. Now was her chance!
Leaning forward, Kurumi swam deeper and deeper into the lake with a trail of hungry Doctor Fish following close behind her. She noticed a treasure chest stuck between two large rocks and it took all her strength to move one to the side. She then grabbed on of the sides and pulled as hard as she could, only to find that the fish had taken to nibbling on her fingers now. UG! Kurumi removed her wand from her wrist holster. "Depulso!" and the fish were blown out of the way...as was the chest, but that made it easier to lift out of the sand.
Bending her knees, Kurumi pushed off the ground and made her way towards the surface, wondering what the contents of this chest were.
Arya was giggling too, though it had been cut short for a moment at Kurumi's shriek. She winced at bit cause they were
close, and tried to curl her toes, but neither helped her current situation. What was nibbling at her feet? She gave each foot a good kick to remove them, an action that had her a step behind the younger lioness.
The prefect dove after Kurumi, attention away from the gaggle of fish that were following after them as her eyes landed on a treasure chest wedged deep in the sand by a rock. She landed on the rock while slipping the wand into her holster. Using both hands, she wrapped her fingers around the handle of the chest and tried to dislodge it. After two mighty heaves, she had it by her side, and was pushing off the rock to swim back to the surface.
But the fish were back!
She sank to the bottom as bit as she withdrew her wand and blasted the little fish away. Then it was back to the top beside Kurumi and opening her chest to see what treasure she would have this time.
