"No, I didn't mention either of you at all. And Tate said he'd give me some time to write around to see if I have any other family I didn't know about," Nate said, still mad at himself. He really should never have gone up to see the Headmaster. But he still had an escape plan. "It doesn't, sadly, but it does involve Kieran, and the fact that he and Lex have a house..." he hinted. Jez was clever enough to put things together. Still, Nate was going to explain it anyway. "We can write him to see if he will pop up as a long-lost uncle, who was disowned from my father's family because of his magical ability. I had never been able to meet him, but when I wrote home to see if any of my neighbors knew of my extended family, then he came up and can claim me. What do you think? Will he do it?"
