I'm not sure they would really be considered dark if that was the situation, because they may just have anger issues, rather than being truly dark." Lily thought this was a pretty complete answer even if it was hard to follow. She just hoped that the professor understood where she was coming from with this.
"Vould certainly have some type of issue." she laughed quietly. "Good thoughts."

"Umm.. because non-dark wizards don't sit around practising dark magic, therefore they don't know exactly how to cast it. Someone who isn't a dark wizard might try the spell at a time they think it is needed, like a family member being endangered, but because they aren't experienced or dark enough to truly want to harm the other person, the spell doesn't work. But if it does work, then I think it doesn't make a wizard dark because their intent came from their need to protect someone else," she explained.

OOC: haha sorry, I'm not very good at explaining things sometimes. Hope that makes some sense..
Medea nodded slowly, following along with what the girl was saying. There was a bit better explanation. "Alright, I see where you are going vith this. Good."

I guess I don't necessarily think someone who uses them to get revenge is a dark witch or wizard...does that make any sense?"
Medea nodded. "It does." she smiled. "Good."

"If it was a one time thing it would have to depended on the circumstances that surround the reason as to why they did in the first place and why they didn't do it again." Was that a good answer for the question she had been asked?
"Hmmm, alright." she nodded with a smile. "Good."

It was then she remembered what she had read about the Great Trio in the Hogwarts History. Didn't they too use the Imperious and Cruciatus curse? She answered, "Professor, in the battle of Hogwarts, the Trio and their teacher also used the Imperious and Cruciatus curse, but it was for good. So what I basically mean, is that in events of a fight of good and evil people, use of Unforgivable curses should be allowed for the good people..." Ira hoped she was making sense and was able to convey what she really thought. She continued, "And the good people do not enjoy the effects like pain and suffering, but instead they use it to remove evil from the world. So in such situations, they can't be considered Dark.."
The imperius curse she could understand. "But if good vos only permitted to use the unforgivables, how is that any better from when the dark use it?" It was like stooping to their level and sugar coating it to make it sound pretty. "Good thoughts though. Interesting."

Oh how she wished there was a new yoga pose to set her mind on! Buut... maybe she could say something. She raised her hand and said "Sometimes witches or wizards are forced to use the Unforgivables, like Draco Malfoy had to. He would have had to summon the feeling and the intent, and it would have made him seem like a dark wizard." Vlimia said once she was picked.
"That is indeed true." she nodded. "Some don't particularly vont to, but are forced to. Good."

With one last quick glance at her watch, Medea nodded to herself and took out her wand. With a swish, the drapes opened up, letting in natural light as the candle flames flickered out, only leaving small traces of smoke rising to the top of the ceiling.

Oh Merlin, that hurt her eyes for a moment.

"Alright. I think that's enough for today." she said, rubbing her eyes and trying to adjust to the new setting. "It vos a good review lesson. I think I have enough to know where you all are in terms of this subject. There is no homework. You were tortured enough for one day." There were considerable less groans of boredom than she'd been expecting. Then again, the majority came from their attempts at the yoga positions.

Funny how that worked out...

"You are dismissed." Smiling out at the class, she bent down to pick up her notes on the students knowledge before remembering. "Oh, and Miss Hyde? If you can please stay behind." No escaping!
