Talking confidently and very softly, "Using that fact to hurt Dallin is awful. I think you both were mad at the moment, maybe you should've given yourselves some time away from each other."
Louisa sighed sadly, "If I can speak up my mind, I'll tell you that you're the one to mend this." She gave an encouraging smile, "You know how pathetic Dallin is now. I mean, he kissed a girl that he barely know, c'mon." If Louisa recalled right, it was her who introduced Dallin to Vashti two terms ago when she was high on his love. "He needs you. He's hurt even more without you. And so are you." Eying the teddy bear for a second. "Give yourself some time but don't let the idea of you two away from each other forever get to you. You can't." Neither one of them.
Ellie looked up at Louisa again as the girl began talking. And it sounded like she was about to give her some good advice, so she listened well to what she had to say.
She was wrong to call him the rebound guy. Well, duh, Ellie knew that. And it's not like she said it on purpose to hurt him, it just... slipped out. But, siiigh. Ellie didn't say anything about that and let Louisa continue. And then she started going on about... fate? It was fate that Alex broke up with her so that Ellie felt like she
needed a rebound. And then she found Dallin. And look where they were now? Well... Where they were before the breakup. It seemed a bit odd, though. Louisa was the last person Ellie expected to talk about 'fate' and 'soul mates'.

"What?!" Nooo way, this wasn't her fault. Well, the last part wasn't; Dallin deliberately tried to make Ellie mad or jealous or whatever by kissing another girl.
"Dallin knows Vashti and he kissed her to make me upset! I hardly see how this is my problem to fix." And he needed her? Pff. Yeah right. All he seemed to need was a kissing booth and he'd be just fine. Ellie rolled her eyes and glared off into a corner.
"I don't need to give it time; I can't fix this... It's not mine to fix." And there was Ellie's stubbornness.
