Lily was the only one of the group sitting down. Sirius and James were glaring at Severus, who was glaring right back, and Remus was standing nervously in the middle.
Professor Dumbledore studied all of their faces, before speaking. “Miss. Evans has told me that you have all been practising the unforgivable curses. Especially Imperio, Mr. Black. Mr. Lupin has told me that you and Mr. Potter have been practising the spell on each other. Now, I need your word that you will not do this again. All of you,” he said now, addressing them all. “No more hexing, or cursing. If I hear that there has been any more of this, it will be instant expulsion. No Dark Magic is permitted within the grounds of Hogwarts. I don’t think you understand the seriousness, it’s not just a curse, it’s unforgivable. It’s illegal!” he said, and dismissed them. Severus stormed out the door, and Lily looked after him in eyes full of tears. James offered her his hand, and Lily got up, shoving it aside. She was next to storm out, and they all heard her running down the stairs crying.

“For Lily’s sake, Mr. Potter, no more.”
