They were all whispering over a book, and she was fed up. “Sixth year and you’re all just as immature as you were in first,” she said, and grabbed it out of their hands. She read a few lines and sunk into the seat next to Sirius, across from James. “What does it mean?” she whispered.
James leaned forward and patted her knee, “It means that they can suck the soul out of you. That’s why we are trying to learn Expecto Patronum, it is the only spell that can help us. We’re going to start practising when we get to the grounds, are you in?” he asked her.
She looked at Remus, who nodded at her, “Yes,” she said, starting to get frightened.
