Checking up on Viola, who was sleeping peacefully in her basket, Louisa went out of her dorm and headed toward Ellie's. She'd promised to come and talk to her when she was out of detention. Ellie seemed very depressed when they talked about it, Dallin was rather happier than her. That only meant more drama for the couple.
Shaking her head at the whole dilemma, the fifteen years old tiptoed into Ellie's dorm which was very well known to her since she'd been here before in a VERY different occasion and for a VERY different reason. Heh. It was ironic now to think about it, actually.
Sweatpants. Baggy sweater. Tissues. Teddy bear... Something was definitely wrong.
Sniffling,
Ellie sat in her bed. She was in her comfy pajamas, under her blankets, holding onto her teddy bear for dear life. Which was intense, because Ellie never took that thing out of her trunk. She just brought it to school for emergencies, but tonight... Tonight was an emergency.
Love is confusing. And just when Ellie thought she finally had it down, it blew up in her face. So, she kind of just gave up. Not because it was too hard, but because she didn't want to be the source of anymore pain for Dallin. Who was an idiot. But she still loved him. And that goes back to the first statement: Love is confusing.
Finally, Louisa showed up. Ellie wiped a stupid tear from her cheek and waved her over to her bed so she could sit. And it was weird because usually Ellie didn't want to talk to Louisa that much, but now she felt like she was the only one she
could talk to.
Thanks for coming," Ellie mumbled. Sigh. Here we go.
