Selina had to bite her tongue when Adam spoke. The two had not left the previous year on fantastic terms and honestly the fellow redhead made her want to punch the wall. She knew that he and Kurumi had made up and were all chummy now but Selina did not trust him as far as she could throw him. So when he complimented her hat she swallowed and said,
"It should be... its my hat."
And he continued to talk further about how he was happy to have worked with her and Kurumi... blah blah blah. She smiled at their fellow house mates, but stayed silent. Otherwise she would have screamed.

There was only one way and he wasn't going to question it at the moment. The boy simply put it on his head and left his dorm for the special event. Now Gideon knew the ladies and Adam had been busy at work for the party and couldn't help but be fulled with wonder and curiosity over what was to be found when he headed over. Stepping inside and seeing everything, he smiled certainly not disappointed.
"Ye guys certainly outdid yerself," he remarked as he walked over to Selina and the two prefects. "Especially ye,Kurumi, " he added with a nod to cookie girl. Gideon was sure most of not all of the baked goods were her personal doing. "Everything looks wonderful!"
When Gideon approached Selina smiked at him and looked at the hat. Last time she had seen that hat her father was on Gideon's front steps. First impressions were interesting things for sure. So the hat made her smirk more poignant. To stop a giggle she bit down on her bottom lip and said,
"I, erm, like the hat, Gid. Really suits you."
Then when he assumed that most of the baked goods were Kurumi's doing she poked his side and said,

I couldn't choose which one I wanted to wear so I brought two with me (The Monkey Hat & The Lion Hat) and they have matching slipper sock to go with them." She choose to put the monkey hat on first and slipped on the matching slipper socks. "A mad hat and crazy feet." Kacie nearly burst into a fit of laughter when she saw her brother in the hat she had made him wear during the summer. Now, how did that end up in his trunk? <__________< "That hat looks great on you Giddy, even better then when you first wore it."
Selina smiled at Kacie and waved at the younger girl,
"Hey Kacie. And yeah you can eat as much as you want. Although between you and me we may not leave anything for everyone else." Then she watched the girl poke fun at Gideon and Selina covered her mouth to muffle her giggles,
"I am assuming I have you to thank Kacie for that hat being in his trunk?"
