Ira hopped forwards. She came to the 1st pole.. Huffing and puffing a little, she lunged forwards. 2 more hops and she would be done!
Hop! Hop! Hop! And there! She made her way around the 1st pole and crossed the finishing line. "Yayy!!!" She looked back at Gustav and urged him to come fast too. "Come on, Beezus! start the race! You've got to go!! Cheers for the Ghost Riders!"
"Yes!" The eaglet yelled as she saw that Ira had managed to cross the line. Immediately, she ran towards her.
"Good job Ira," she told her as she hurriedly hopped unto the sack. Now, time for some hopping. She glanced at her team mates,
"Wish me luck!" she mumbled then she started off the leg.
HOP. HOP. HOP.
Beezus passed the first pole with a bit of difficulty. she did not expect that it was a bit hard to jump with a sack on. Not to mention, she had not tried playing that game before. However, she pulled on the sides of the sack and continued hopping. Pole 2, passed. Balance Beezus, just keep your balance. She kept reminding herself. She looked at their opponents and the mere fact the all of them were giving their best motivated her. She hopped faster and soon she passed the third pole.
