Yep, she was just out doing her job... as the healer... checking to make sure the handsome professor was still fine. "Ohhhhh pfffft," Willy made a silly dismissal motion with his hand, resisting the urge to giggle for some reason, and tugged the lobalug closer to the pond. He turned it over, then, dumping the whole little creature into the pond without another thought. The thing seemed to adjust to the new environment quickly, swimming off without another squirt of venom.
Good.
He turned back around and flicked a bit of dried venom off his earlobe. "I survived a good swim down in the lake, did I tell you? The merpeople practically GAVE me that little guy." He thumbed toward the lobalug over his shoulder. "I only had to make a hundred promises I probably won't keep first, but no big deal!"
