Aidella | King of Confusion | Brittana | Forever ACROMANTULA
Paulie shrugged when Louisa said his was dramatic. "Nothin' wrong with a bit of dramatics." Her giggle assured him anyway, and he smiled proudly.
Finally, Helen of Hogwarts over here was finished with her poster, and Paulie shifted to get a better look. He stifled a laugh, but instead it came out as a snort. Hers was so serious! Honestly, anything that compared a dusty library with a flamebreathing dragon would elicit an amused reaction from Paulie, and probably 95% of the other kids at Hogwarts. (The 5% that didn't were, no doubt, Ravenclaws.) "It's very.. intelligent-sounding." There, he found something NICE to say instead. Of course she would use Latin in hers.
And, here! Here it was, finally he'd be getting some positive remarks on something he handed in to a professor. He smiled anxiously and waited for her approval. Or... not. Not what she was going for? What? His smile disappeared and he looked back to his board, then to Louisa's as hers was critiqued. Now, Louisa's poster on the other hand. Oh, perfection. Plain perfection, apparently. He frowned in disapproval and felt his heartbeat speed up a tad. Gosh, he was mad! And even kinda.. sad.
Ah, OF COURSE. Try the poster again. Change it 'cause it WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. "Seriously?" He sat up straighter and couldn't help but send a glare towards Professor Hadley. Was their Astronomy professor going to keep playing mute here, or what? "Mine is just as good as hers." Better, actually, but he wasn't looking to hurt Louisa's feelings at the moment. He was clearly agitated, and so he had to make an effort to contain his voice. "And you didn't answer my previous question." Let alone acknowledge it.
