Treyen actually surprised him by his quick acceptance of the fact that Dallin wasn't going to say anything else about Ellie J. Dallin looked at him, trying to convey his thanks without saying anything, but then Treyen spoke again. And Dallin couldn't help but laugh. Yes, he was the important one. Thank you.
...Oh. But obviously, Ellie wasn't going to be so... not curious. Dallin looked down at his feet, frowning. Why wasn't 'his' Ellie here? "Well, I don't think she'd want to come." She might, had Dallin not been part of the reason for this party-thing. He was sure that Ellie J. wouldn't mind being with Ellie S. and Treyen...

Sigh. Why was Eliana still asking questions about Ellie? She should've just accepted the fact that there was something going on...unless...well, maybe Treyen was right and Eliana knew nothing of what could be possibly going on with Dallin and his girlfriend. That situation made him feel...a bit special, honestly, because Dallin had trusted in him. That was nice.
But Dallin's answer was ASKING for another question! This could get a bit awkward if Eliana was bringing up Ellie again. He...kind of wanted to tell her to let it go...but...
"She's probably busy, right Dallin?" the Ravenclaw boy shouldn't be frowning, "We have NEWTs this year, after all." And...why was Treyen here if he had NEWTs? His eyes focused...nowhere in particular, he simply looked away from Dallin for a moment, "So, what is it you guys do, besides...eating cake?" See, now he didn't know what to say. He wanted to help Dallin somehow, but couldn't.
Yes, she was seventeen. Ellie nodded, still grinning. That was why she could do MAGIC now. And Apparate.
"And you're eighteen." Which was nothing special to her, but if they were just stating the obvious.......
So....no Ellie J? But....
why? And why was Dallin frowning and....what was that Treyen said?
Ellie rolled her eyes.
"NEWTs are ages away, Treyen." They'd be crazy to start studying now. Studying now would probably drive them crazy. They shouldn't be doing it.
"Why wouldn't she want to?" The question was directed to
Dallin. Again. So
he should answer, yes? But seriously, who wouldn't want to hang out and eat cake? Seriously?
The SEVENTEEN year old giggled at her boyfriend's question.
"Not much....?" No, really, not much. They kinda just ate cake. Hence why they kept this tradition in the kitchens. It was a really pitiful job of recreating this scene kitchen-less and Elf-less last term.
