For a moment, Sierra thought Professor Lafay would tell her that she couldn't participate and had to go back to the common room. She looked around at the festivities. She wasn't one to enjoy too much of this sort of thing, but it'd sort of be a bummer to have to turn back now when everyone else was having so much fun. It'd only put her in a bad mood.

Lafay said yes, though, so Sierra grinned at her then hurried to join her team. She'd just jumped into her potato sack when FLASH! A green spark shot straight out Lafay's wand. Dear Merlin. Things were getting under way!

She looked around at her team, wondering if they'd already decided who would go first. No one was taking off, though, so in the excitement of the moment, Sierra decided to take it upon herself to be the first. "I'll go first!" she yelled. "Be back in a few..." Hopefully. She took off in the potato sack, gripping the edges tightly, so as not to drop the sack. The first pole was quickly approaching, so Sierra gto ready to move quickly as she closed in on the pole. With a zig-zag motion, she waved her way past it then moved on to the second pole.
