"I told you I was learning." Maybelle smirked at Everett.
"Yeah, but I don’t think that you’re good enough to take my title."
Maybelle nudged him, and started laughing. "I think it’s pretty good, seeing as you won’t even write me a song."
Everett rolled his eyes, and picked up his guitar. "Why do you want me to write you a song?"
Maybelle gave him a side glance. "You know why."
"Well, why did you...I mean before…" Everett said.
"Well, because I couldn’t play the guitar then." She said, and they both burst into laughter.
"I’m still better." Maybelle said.
