Aaaaand... she had never seen the Karate Kid. Right. "I guess you'd just have to have seen it to know what I'm talkin' about," Paulie shrugged. A pathetic movie? Well. She was certainly quick to judge, wasn't she? "You've never seen it, so you donno know." Clearly the only basis for her opinion was that he referenced the movie, and that somehow automatically made it pathetic. He kept scrubbing away at the slime, waxing on and off. Almost done..
He paused, though, when he believed to have heard her thank him. Was this.. niceness? It took him a moment to think of how to respond because he was so used to simply sending back some cheeky retort to the jabs that she'd give him. "You're welcome.." he finally answered. Huh.. interesting. Anyway, a second later he was back to scrubbing.
His right arm was stretched out to its full length and he was standing on his toes to get to the very top section of the wall when Louisa spoke again. "See what?" And you could hear the stretch in his words from his reaching up so high. Next thing, she was tugging him down to look at.. disappearing slime?
..Disappearing slime! "Oh! Sweeeeet," Paulie drew out the vowel to match the formation of his new grin. This totally meant that they were close to being done. Done done. Like, no more re-growing slime.
