Edvard’s face got as white as a ghost as Dash mentioned the possibility of him being poisoned. Wide eyed he asked "Do youuu really think I could be poisoned?" Cough, why would anyone want to poison him?

Althea had stuff to do? Dash simply took another sip of his tea at Eddie's words. Sure. They could go with that. Much better than the truth in his opinion.

"Come to my office later." He nodded. "I'll lend you something easy to read that will really fill you in." He was only being kind about it because if Eddie said something that idiotic again about the History of the castle he'd have to officially denounce their friendship.

"Oh, yeah, most definitely." He shifted to sit up straight in the chair. "Just ask William over there. Oliver too." There were good at those things. "Weren't you two the reason why Cecilia, fainted during the feast?" It was a hunch, but he could bet it was a good one.
