Everything they had been talking about ended abruptly when Kennedy had screeched out that Adam had caused the fire. He got closer an closer to the burning flames an with a shaky hand pointed it at the bowl. "AGUAMENTI!!!"
Water began to sprout out of the wand an onto the bowl. Adam breathed out longly when the fire had been extinguished. At least everything was back to normal now. But, the countertop was soaking wet, an with the force of the water on the bowl, the bowl was on the floor, an the butter evaporated.
"Oh god! Oh god!" he said still panicking as he clutched his hair. Adam looked at Kennedy an gave him a half scared, half amused smile. "Erm..So, yeah..I think we should not continue with baking together on our own...OMG!"
Then his eyes popped out. "Kurumi..If she knew or knows..or will know..." At least nothing was damaged, beside the bowl being a bit black on the edges.
Kennedy almost wanted to stop Adam. What if he said Aguamentiti and flooded the entire kitchen? Fortunately, that didn't happen and the charm worked putting out the flames.
Then he noticed that they were surrounded by...a BIG mess. He turned his attention to Adam and gave him a "look what you did" stare. Kennedy almost had the urge to run out because something told him that if they were caught they might get detention or lose house points.
"Calm down," he said, pointing his wand at the water and muttered a drying spell. There. Dry. "
You don't want to end up bald either," he smirked, watching Adam clutching his hair. Kennedy straightened up and smirked back playfully.
"I think you shouldn't bake on your own." He so had this under control, except for that small freak out moment, but it was all good. He glanced around and then said,
"Lets just clean up leave, no one needs to know." Hopefully there were not witnesses AND Kurumi didn't need to know about this.
