The door opened, and Sierra greeted Lafay with a small, casual smile. She waited while some other girl was being let out, and then she pushed herself off the wall and followed Lafay into the office. "Hello," she said, taking a seat in that same, uncomfortable chair that had been here for as long as Sierra could remember. Her greeting sounded so formal to her, and she almost hated to say it, but she didn't feel like getting a frown five seconds into her visit. "So how's the school year coming along?" she asked. She really hadn't had a chance to talk to Lafay much since she'd gotten here. Being grounded could do that to a person.
