Alyssa was swimming keeping a lookout vigil for the Grindylows when suddenly Bartholow Henry, the Giant Squid appeared right in front of Professor Scabior and told them that they weren't too far away. 'Wait a minute. Too far from what?' Alyssa thought to herself. So there WAS a reason why they were swimming down here in the lake. Alyssa was both excited and wary at the same time. Now that they were nearing their destination, that probably meant that danger was also lurking nearby. She reached down to her wand holster just to make sure that her wand was still within reach.
