Ari had read the announcement regarding a party in the Common Room days ago and was really excited about it. She didn't know what to expect, and worried that she'd look ridiculous with her hat, but upon seeing everyone else, she actually felt sorry for not opting for a crazier hat. Oh well, maybe next time.
'Wow, you guys have sure put a lot of effort into this.' the girl deducted when she saw the quantities of delicious food waiting to be devoured by them lions.
'Thank you for organizing this party, it's a great idea.' she added, looking at the two Prefects and the Quidditch captain.
'Err-how can I help myself to a piece of Sorting Hat Cake? It looks delicious.' Thea entered the room, instantly curious. She had noticed the announcement a few days ago but she had never imagined she would actually come. She nodded at the Gryffindor Prefect as she passed.
'This looks brilliant, Kurumi!' She said, smiling.
As she got closer to the table, she ran a finger around the teapot.
'The tea set is beautiful!' Her mother had a nice tea set.. possibly nicer than this one. She stood next to a girl about her age, and she too was gazing at the cake. However, the girl's hat distracted her from the wonder in front of her. Trying to hold back a snigger, she turned away. Whoops..
