Minerva walked up to the Astronomy towers. She felt unsure of being up here since the last time she had come up she had points taken, but it seemed quiet enough this evening. She went to the cabinet and got out a telescope. These were so much better then the one she was using in her dorm room. Minerva walked over to an empty spot and set up the telescope. She laid her bag down and opened it pulling out her notebook and text book. Opening it up to see what she could look for tonight. Minerva shrugged she was going to do it differently tonight. She got up and looked through the telescope. She wanted to see what she could find on her own. As Minerva looked into the sky she noticed a star that she remembered her grandfather telling her about. She pulled her book closer and looked in. Yes it was the Sigma Octantis, so she looked further in her book and back to her telescope. She started writing in her journal as she looked in her telescope. Looking back at her book she smiled she had just found Octans. It kind of looked like a space ship in her books at home. She began to sketch what she saw.


Once she was finished drawing sketching down what she saw in the journal Minerva cleaned up everything and left the observatory before anyone else was around that might get her in trouble. She wasn't risking that again.
