Alyssa turned to see whether Professor Williamson was okay. He was right behind her. She decided to slow down, so that the Professor could catch up with her. Being the last person wasn't exactly safe for him either, even if he was the Professor and could defend himself better than any of the students. It was dark here in the lake and Alyssa wished that she could use her wand and use the LUMOS spell to at least have some light down here but she suspected that it might draw the Grindylows out and that's not what anyone wanted. So she contined to swim in the dark with the others.
