Usually people liked to rub it in his face why exactly they thought he was weird and why they laughed at him. So he was thoroughly confused when Gwen just kept quiet.

A BOGGART?! Lewis jumped back up from his seat, staring down at her and the spot he had just vacated. Was she serious?! Why was she so close to it then? Why would she- Oh. "Yes, very funny." The moment he got a good look of her face, he realized that she probably hadn't been serious. Narrowing his eyes at her a little, he sat back down at the very end of the bench, though, as far away from her as possible.

"Hufflepuff." Lewis replied without looking at her, but rather gazing down at his hands absently. What was he doing here anyway? Why was she even talking to him? "You?" Because again, this was the normal thing to say.
